Job Description

    About The Company:ARAs client is a leading IT solutions provider, offering Applications, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)and Infrastructure services globally through a combination of technology know-how, domain, and process expertise.The Role:As an asset Servicing analyst in Asset Servicing Operations, the ideal candidate will be responsible for Income and Corporate Actions operations and ongoing remediation activities across the IMOS product and service offering.Key Responsibilities:
    1. Responsible for day-to-day operations of all Asset Servicing - Income and Corporate Actions processes.
    2. Setting up daily accruals in the asset servicing systems and ensuring timely settlement is performed on a daily basis in a controlled manner.
    3. Identifying and repairing exceptions to ensure timely projection of income accruals and settlement in clients liquidity portfolio, the Investment Book of Record.
    4. Performing control checks to ensure any missing accruals are set-up timely.
    5. Understand the regulatory requirements working with Risk && Control / Compliance / Industry (ISDA/Equities industry groups/DTCC etc.) and internal stakeholders.
    6. Diligently follow the end-to-end control processes.
    7. Identify process and system enhancement recommendations.
    8. Successfully deliver controlled environment of Asset Servicing.
    9. Ensure all controls and checks are completed by the end of day.
    Skills Required:
    1. Good understanding of IB products, including but not limited to Income and Corporate Actions, Trades, Cash and Stock Reconciliations.
    2. Good understanding of market regulations and nuances.
    3. Good business analysis skills to drill down the complex asset servicing events for multiple jurisdictions.
    4. Good problem-solving skills in order to identify, understand, and address operational and technical issues.
    5. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders including Senior Business executives.
    6. Self-motivated and ability to deliver with minimal supervision.
    7. Understanding of the end-to-end transaction cycle for various products.
    8. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with time-critical deliveries.
    9. Control mindset to identify process control gaps, prioritize, and mitigate operational risk.
    Qualifications & Experience:
    1. Bachelors degree, Finance / Economics or other related disciplines is preferred.
    2. Minimum 2-4 Years of experience on Investment Banking is a must.
    3. Preferably in Middle Office / Trade Support.
