• Atlassian Devops Admin (Requirement Gathering, Feasibility, Solutioning, Execution).
• Must-have:Jira, JSM, Confluence administration.
• Anyone devops tool & its integration with Jira/JSM,One scripting language out of Groovy or Python, GITLAB.
• A right candidate should be proficient not only in Atlassian tools but know of devops processes and at least 2 devops products too as suitable to Atlassian. S/he is also expected to know how CICD pipelines are integrated with Jira and how it works.
• Gather requirements for business processes and determine ways to optimize/improve JIRA/JSM/ Confluence and Jira/JSM integration with one of Bitbucket/Azure Devops/AWS devops. Create and configure; workflow, screen, and field schemes, as well as identify where functionality can / cannot meet user requests.
• Provide the recommendation and enhancement of JIRA processes enabled on JIRA.
• Introduce the best practice / workflow of the Atlassian tools to maximize the efficiency.
• Create a detailed Program Increment plan, define dependencies which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully develop, configure, and release Best Practices of Atlassian tools.
JIRA Customization to extend Jira beyond its standard capabilities:
1. Atlassian JIRA Developer & Administrator shall develop and provide technical solution for Atlassian Tools including:
• Installation of JIRA, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Bitbucket .
• Configuring Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management.
• Consolidation of multiple JIRA servers and migration.
• Working knowledge of Windows serves and VM configuration/ allocation.
1. Extensive hands-on experience in all aspects of setting up, configuring, and managing Atlassian server, DC, or Cloud.
2. This engineer requires an expertise in developing, maintaining, and supporting automation workflow in JIRA and maintaining other Atlassian products.
3. End to End excellent knowledge of JIRA Agile Boards: Scrum & Kanban
4. Automate processes using JIRA.
5. Design custom JIRA workflow for different issue types to assist in automation of build and continuous integration workflow.
6. JIRA engineer will customize JIRA to improve the workflow and to generate historical data performance reports.
7. Create JIRA dashboards, queries and reports to track various historical data points and performance
8. Create and manage custom JQL filters and dashboards as needed.
9. Configuring Projects, Workflows, Fields, Screen, JIRA Dashboards, JIRA Cluster.
10. Setting up: Scrum/Kanban Boards, Dashboard, Reports
11. Automate report generation for Program/Funnel health, performance tracking.
12. Design and maintain custom projects, workflows, schemes, screens, and field configurations.
13. Installing and updating JIRA plugins using Atlassian SDK (i.e., Rally plugins)
14. Develop custom plugins to extend the JIRA capabilities & notification schemes.
15. Custom Scripting, Plug-in Configurations
16. Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, document, plan and prioritize optimal solutions that Lead major and minor JIRA and plugin upgrades as needed Troubleshoot issues and provide support for day-to-day user requests
17. Manage the changes to workflows and fields, JQL scripting and reporting JIRA Administration
Set up monitoring process:
• Provide JIRA administration and support Upgrade, configure and build complex workflows via native JIRA capabilities and customization.
• Perform the duties of JIRA maintenance, administration and upgrade and enhancements.
• Provide ongoing support and configuration maintenance Create and manage security schemes, permission schemes and configurations.
Reporting & controls:
• Automate report generation for Program/Funnel health, performance tracking.
• Ensure timely reporting of Features/Initiatives, Program/Funnel health to different stakeholders.
• Automated reports triggered and communicated with business users.
