Job Description

    Looking for a highly experienced candidate with extensive skills in application support, maintenance, and enhancement, particularly in a technical environment involving Informix ESQL/C, C programming, Unix systems, and multi-tier architectures. Heres a condensed summary of the candidates skills and experience:Core Technical Skills:
    • Programming Languages: Expertise in Informix ESQL/C and C language for application development.
    • Database & File Systems: Hands-on experience with CISAM for file access and updates.
    • Unix Expertise: Strong command over Unix OS, proficient in writing Unix Shell scripts and AWK scripts for automation and troubleshooting.
    • Source Control & Build Management: Knowledge of SCCS for source control, as well as makefile setup for application compilation and deployment.
    • Multithreading & Programming: Extensive experience in multithreading and fork programming in C.
    • Protocol Expertise: Familiar with ISO 8583 (International Forecourt Standards Forum) protocol, ensuring smooth data exchange and transaction processing.
    • Application Development Lifecycle: Experience in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining applications from end-to-end across development, testing, and production environments.
    Key Soft Skills:
    • Strong Communication & Negotiation: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, facilitating discussions and concluding them to logical resolutions.
