Job Description

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares accurate guest accounts and bills by ensuring that all charges arerecorded and easily understood by guests. Supervises cash float, cash revenue, credit card vouchers, guest accounts, andbalance of daily restaurant shift account. Prepares cash revenue summary, statistics of business volume and menu itemsordered. Maintains current knowledge of all menu and wine list items and prices. Assists handling of guest complaints to the satisfaction of all parties. Notifies the Food & Beverage Manager if assistance is required. Ensures guest accounts are handled quickly and accurately. Ensures sufficient supply of all stationery items required for efficient operation. Ensures work area is clean, organized and set for next shift. Provides assistance to guests in all hotel emergency evacuation and medicalprocedures. Maintains correct security procedures according to hotel policy. Reports any health or safety hazards to the Restaurant Manager. Performs other duties when directed by Food & Beverage Manager or IncomeAuditor.ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES: Reports to work station according to schedule with a high standard of personalappearance and hygiene with clean and pressed uniform and name badge asdescribed in staff handbook.
