This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.RESPONSIBILITIES: Data Risk Management:1. Publish the Data Quality Operational Risk Framework and Risk Register every Quarter.2. Establish a Treatment Plan for all gaps identified, include an Approach to closure of gaps. Ensure all gaps are closed within the timelines defined within the ORF/RR.3. Prepare any Risk Acceptance Paper s, seek approvals from all Stakeholders prior to submission to the relevant NFRC. Ensure the approach to closing the Risk Acceptance paper is drafted and is delivered within the agreed timeframes.4. Ensure the ORF/RR remains relevant, enhancing, maintaining and adding to the Risks and Controls to ensure they reflect the true risk Data poses to the Bank and the current Industry standards on how data should be managed within the Bank.5. Reporting to the CL NFRC, and NFRC monthly, preparation and presentation of the ORF/RR to the CL Data Forum following publication.6. Maintain a low Residual Risk Rating is reported quarterly through proactively managing the Data Risks identified through new SLA s and SLA renewals.Support the CL Data Governance Lead in all activities where required.Seek opportunities for Continuous Improvement to processes and tasks across the Data Management FunctionLiaise with the Data Projects & Change Team and CLM Operations Team to advise and support on process improvements and share the understanding of Risk across the teams to improve DQ at source, and drive change enabling an uplift in Data Quality.Adherence to laws and regulations, internal risk and compliance policies and the Group Code of Conduct.Completion of all mandatory risk and compliance training including e-learning within stated timeframes.Proactive identification of risks and concerns, including escalation to all relevant stakeholders.There will be travel to Singapore expected with this role at least once a year.REQUIREMENTS/KNOWLEDGE:Qualifications and Skills:Experience of working in a Data Management function, understanding of the Risks related to poor data. Knowledge of how to manage mini projects to resolve DQ Issues.Knowledge of the Operational Risk Framework, it s purpose and how to effectively manage a Risk RegisterStrong CLDM KnowledgeDegree or diploma qualified experience in multiple phases of the project lifecycle, preferably with exposure to business project delivery rolesAdvocate of team multi culture and collaborative with commercial and pragmatic approachExposure to a structured development lifecycle and related deliverable and work processesAbility to engage with all levels of senior managementPossess excellent communication, collaboration, presenting and influencing skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team and individually with minimal supervisionExperience in leading technical & time critical projectsExperience in banking / financial institution preferredCore Skills:Ability to work effectively as a self-starter with minimal supervision and ensure deadlines are metFocussed, able to take ownership of tasks and results-orientedAbility to deliver with strict accuracy levelsAbility to work effectively as part of a team and good organisation skillsDemonstrable decision-making skills, logical approach to problem solvingAbility to create & maintain documentation to a high standardAbility to understand policy, standards and procedural requirements and translate to operation / project-based requirementsGood understanding of the risks related to poor data.Desirable / Advantage:Experience of working in a Data Management function, understanding of the Risks related to poor dataStrong experience working with data and/or data remediation and reconciliation at multiple levelExposure to a structured development lifecycle and related deliverable and work processesExperience in multiple phases of the project lifecycle, preferably with exposure to business project delivery rolesConsultancy background an advantageKnowledge of SCB standard processes, systems, project management, implementation and post implementation processesExperience in banking / financial institutionApply now to join the Bank for those with big career ambitions.,
