Scientific Officers for Digital Forensics Division undertaking Cyber Forensics and Audio-Video Examinations at Bangalore Regional Office of Truth LabsRoles and ResponsibilitiesThe duties of Scientific Officer include developing new clients, establishing professional liaison, maintaining cordial relations with clients and other client development services besides receipt of physical evidence, maintenance of scientific records, preliminary examination of physical evidence, assisting experts in forensic examination of evidence, preparation of preliminary reports and any other scientific and administrative jobs assigned to the respective posts from time.Required Candidate profilePost Graduation in Chemistry, Physics, Forensic Science, Computer Applications;Graduation in Computer Science and Engineering.Preferences- 3-5years of experience in computer forensics /audio video forensics related work- Knowledge of collecting, analyzing and reporting on digital data that is legally admissible.- Experience with Digital Forensic Tools- Experience in Audio Video Forensic Tools- Experience in detection of crime or policy violation where evidence is stored digitally- Bachelors /Masters degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Digital Forensics or equivalent work experience.- In-depth knowledge of artefacts in Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 10, and Windows Server 2008/2012)- Ability to identify artefacts and evidence locations to establish the occurrence of specific activities including but not limited to - application execution, file access, data theft, external device usage, VM, cloud services, geo-location, file download, anti-forensics, and detailed system usage- Knowledge of Voice and Speaker Identification techniques- Ability to travel and to testify own reports as expert in the Indian courts of law, upon court summon or departmental enquiry is a must.- Experience of defending own report as expert in court of law a plus.- References with details of experience in forensics a plus.- Degree or Certification related to Computer of Audio Video Forensics is plus.PerksPermanent employment post successful completion of training and probation period.,
