This is a Data Scientist - Image and Video Analytics role, reporting to the Head of Solution & Value Engineering in business area Industrial Automation (IA) located in Bangalore. • Conceptualizing and developing prescriptive analytic algorithms for industrial assets based on image and video data.
• Conceptualizing and developing asset monitoring diagnostic and prognostic algorithms for industrial equipment based on advanced image processing techniques.
• Solutioning analytic algorithms and their output visualizations by packaging them as industrial business value apps.
• Working closely with customers and Business Units (BUs) to architect and develop customer centric solutions tailored to their requirements.
• Practicing agile development of digital solution Proof of Concepts to effectively articulate the customer value proposition.
• Providing industry specific domain insights for rich proposal responses by articulating customer value proposition.

• Ph.D / M.Tech / MS in either Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation or Machine Learning or Statistics or a related quantitative field.
• Required 2 to 5 years of overall work experience in image and video analytics.
• Should have extensive programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Python (preferred), R, Matlab .
• Should be familiar with opencv, machine learning libraries and at least one of the deep learning frameworks Tensorflow, PyTorch, Caffe, Keras etc.
• Should have agile development of customer centric prototypes / Proof of Concepts for focused digital solutions.
• Should understand the fundamentals of image processing and video analysis.
• Should have good understanding of concepts of basic and advance image/video processing techniques.
