JOB SUMMARY: Organizing/performing jobs in the pump room, mud mixing area and derrick, and assist in other areas as needed.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:Operations
• Supervision of the pump room, mud mixing equipment and drilling fluid.
• Frequently test the properties of the drilling fluid and keep records of the results.
• Perform maintenance activities.
• Keep the driller informed about the consistency of the drilling fluid as well as the general state of the pumps.
• Operate any drilling equipment in a proper manner within its capacity limits and at the correct tempo.
• Contribute to good communication between all involved in the ongoing operation
• Keep the workplace tidy and clean.
• Emergency duties according to the units emergency organization.
