Job Description

Lead Integration Engineer- Middleware Competencies: Understands and meets stated needs & requirements of the stakeholders, brings contextual nuances in deliverables and work output to truly partner with all concerned stakeholders. Technical Skills & Responsibilities: Administration, Installation, clustering, nodding and support of middleware environments Production and Non-Production Support including Identification, diagnosis, and remediation or escalation of operational issues Identification, Development, Deployment, and Operation of automated processes to perform installation, administration, support, and other routine tasks Hands-on experience in development and supporting solutions on MuleSoft ESB, SOA Designed and developed enterprise services using RAML in Mule, REST based APIs, SOAP Web Services and use of different mule connectors (File connector, Http/Https, SAP, CXF connectors). Configure APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals and API analytics based on technical specifications with Mulesoft API manager. Designing APIs & Building APIs, Design and development of Flow processes Deploying and Managing APIs Accessing and Modifying Mule Messages Structuring Mule Applications Participates in the design, development, configuration and maintenance of software code for business applications. Contribute to full life-cycle application development/configuration including user requirements, specifications, design, coding, testing, documentation, etc. Contribute to system documentation for systems, applications and databases. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be configured, written, designed, coded, tested and debugged. Consult with users and develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation. Planning and Support of Disaster Recovery, Capacity Planning, Performance Tuning, and other operational duties Upgrade middleware stack with new versions of software Shell scripting in server administration and automation. Support a 24 x 7 environment, providing on-call support as needed, with a high degree of responsiveness and sound trouble-shooting methodologies Engaged to provide advanced support during major incident resolution (P1 and P2) as necessary Provide first/ second line middleware support including trouble shooting issues, leading technical investigations and supporting critical platforms in a demanding 24/7 environment Provide production & non-production middleware support for multiple business critical applications Support over 150 middleware services and all Middleware enterprise platforms in production. Handling weekend deployment and production related activities. Conduct trend analyses of incidents, problems and events Responsible for ensuring corrective actions completed, provide workarounds and potential solutions Ensure application support documentation is current (Control Plans, Technical Recovery Plan) Continually improve monitoring and alerting, gather and report application metrics Write operating procedures, knowledge articles, answers to FAQs, and on-call reports; Facilitates knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining detailed, comprehensive documentation and diagrams. May lead small projects or regularly coach other team members to ensure application are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices. Lead the work, but also provide hands-on contributions to the execution of work by working on and completing project tasks. Performs capacity planning and continual performance improvement, creates, executes and maintains infrastructure readiness documentation and acceptance check lists to operational activities Leads problem solving and troubleshooting sessions for the integration environments and related supported applications. Interacts with hardware and software vendors to ensure timely resolution to any issues or outages. Responds quickly and effectively to escalated or P1 production issues and take responsibility for seeing those issues through resolution. Analyzes existing integration operations and make recommendations for continual service improvement. Participates in Post-Mortem meetings to discuss incidents and recommend changes to avoid reoccurrence. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications programming. Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and established policies and procedures. Works to define and implement conceptual issues. Receives general direction and is competent to perform most aspects of the job independently. Actively identifies issues, seeks out solutions and makes recommendations to the broad business community to apply customized solutions to solve business problems Experience in designing and implementing business applications using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to provide concrete reusable service at an expert level Having hands-on experience in application integration using middleware technologies including any ESB (TIBCO/BizTalk/Oracle) and messaging solutions (MSMQ/TIBCO EMS/WebLogic JMS) Having hands-on experience in SOA Governance platforms (e.g. SOA Software, Oracle Fusion). Must have hands-on experience in designing and developing SOAP and RESTful web services at an expert level Proficient using SOAPUI or other tools to test SOAP/REST Web Service APIs Strong working knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and enterprise application Good experience in RDBMS concepts (PL/SQL or MS SQL Server) Solid experience with XML programming (transformations, schema definitions, etc.) and W3C standards. Strong experience in understanding of issues around integration with large volumes of data, real-time synchronous and asynchronous integration. Strong written and verbal communication skills Extensive knowledge and experience working in an Agile environment Educational Qualification and Experience: Minimum of 15 years of formal education - Graduate / Post Graduate in Computer Science / Information Technology. Professional work experience of 8 to 10years.,
