Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and talented Director of Product Design to guide our enterprise admin, end-user, and mobile experiences for our Citrix Workspace, Networking, and Analytics products to the next level.Design serves a vital role at Citrix. Efforts that go into creating the experiences and crafting the details in our products help transform the way people work. Our ideal candidate advocates for users and leverages data to design our product experiences. • Manage, inspire, and motivate a team of world-class user experience professionals with strong consumer sensibility in Bangalore
• Create a collaborative and innovative environment that advocates user-centered design and a positive mobile customer experience
• Provides guidance and leadership to individual contributors and managers within the team and across related projects, disciplines, and areas of expertise.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with work partners to ensure design is fully represented and embedded in strategic product planning and decision making
• Drive the development and communication (internal and external) of cross-product strategy, and align teams across product lines. Engage and works closely with other design professionals, products teams, and end users to accomplish goals.
• Demonstrate broad understanding of the product landscape and expertise across various domains, and a deep understanding of business practices and rationale

• Collaborate with our User Research team to champion research insights, prioritize issues, and inform design projects, resulting in improved customer satisfaction and sales revenue
• Influence the design of next generation user experience standards (i.e. reusable navigation schemes, components and templates) across the companys products, ensuring a consistent, appealing and dynamic customer experience.

• Bachelors degree or Master s degree in visual design, interaction design, human factors, human-computer interaction, or equivalent professional experience
• A minimum of ten (10) years of directly related work experience in User Interface Design/Development or Human Factors Usability. Eight (8) years of experience required for those holding a Master s degree.
• Five (5) or more years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and executing User Experience Designs within an iterative software development process with demonstrated success as a team leader or project leader.
• Recognized as a domain expert in product design, with a proven ability to consistently transform complex user tasks into simple, efficient, and polished user experiences for multiple complex web or software applications with a large and varied group of users.
• Direct experience with UX research methodologies such as card sorting, usability testing, ethnographic research, customer interviews, surveys, and focus groups.
• Experience in product design on a global scale
• Working and collaborating in Agile development environments using management and issue tracking software (e.g., Jira)
• Extensive experience with information architecture and interaction design principles, producing deliverables such as content organization, site maps, flowcharts, and developing user interfaces for Windows software or web applications
• Online portfolio showcasing work that exhibits attention to detail and articulates design decisions, with a range of interactive samples.
• Demonstrates a passion for design, our users, and collaboration with designers and cross-functional team members.
