Job Description

Role :

  • Migration Developer in PostgreSQL
  • Migrate the embeded SQL queries in SQL files, Java files to compatible PostgreSQL syntaxes
  • Test and Tune the queries enabling the application run on PostgreSQL smoothly
  • Participate in Agile rituals.
Operational Skills :
  • Min. experience of 6+ years in development environment
  • Experience on Migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL
  • Sound knowledge of Java, JPA, Hibernate , Spring
  • Sound knowledge on PLSQL modification to PostgreSQL
  • Ability to read through the specification and develop the code
  • Ability to document and train the application team on the migration process
  • Knowledge & practicing on Agile framework of project delivery
