Lead new product development, localization and sustaining of current LV IEC Equipment products. Responsible for the technical execution of projects working closely with Technical lead and cross functional team.Design and optimization (Concept to implementation) of IEC LV productsStrong background on design management and usage of applications/tools.Lead Architecture development and technical specifications.Define & Lead product test and validation plan for review with AL/TL, and cross functional teamsTest / Verify the final productAwareness of User and Installation habitsShould have strong knowledge of LV products/LV Equipment / Sheet metal design & manufacturing processes and strong knowledge on IEC standard.Lead the V&V of parts and sub-assembly using CQCS approachCost estimation at part level with support of IndustrializationDesign to costTechnical deliverable estimationsDefine Analysis requirements of mechanical systems, including Finite Element analysis for structural, Rheology, and thermal. Demonstrated in past experience.Review and validate manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standardsDevelops functional chains in accordance with Schneider standardsInterfaces with outside vendors for prototype developmentLead in DFSS ( FMEA etc) tools and quality ProcessPrepare for technical review meetingsEnsure the manufacturing feasibility, and maintenance requirements of designs - DFMA, SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf motivated and highly organizedLV product & Equipment / Panels knowledgeKnowledge of Sheetmetal designs, Plastic parts, Manufacturing technologiesStrong display of Engineering Change Management process.Good understanding of Basic Mechanical design parameter such as Dimensioning, tolerance, and material characteristics/ properties.Excellent problem solving and time management skillsProficient in 3D CAD modeling (Preferably Pro E/Creo ) PDM and PLMProficiency in IEC standardsHands on experience on Tolerance analysis, GD&T ,Value Engineering /Analysis knowledge(Good to have)Should be able to work in Cross functional environmentGood mechanical aptitude and knowledgeKnowledge of electrical / electronic devices in low voltageProficient in 3D CAD modeling (ProE / Creo Elements preferred)Qualification: Minimum BE/Btech Electrical/Mechanical 5 Years of relevant experience.
