Job Description

Service Delivery EngineerWhat you ll achieveAs a Service Delivery Engineer, you will provide world-class delivery support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers priorities and initiatives and becoming a trusted advisor that avoids customer impact and facilitates continuous improvement. You will identify potential sales and growth opportunities and will partner with key stakeholders to maximize these prospects.You will:

  • Systems Application support and escalations for Distributed Scheduling and Wavefront products
  • Work actively with technology teams to analyze and resolve Application failures
  • Identify defects, discrepancies, and trends by ways of troubleshooting
  • Infrastructure support of products and systems to enable automation and help improve and achieving efficiency
  • Understand the regional dependencies and drive the regional technical requirements
  • Provide application lifecycle support for critical GS Internet facing applications with continuous focus on improvement and performance measurement

  • 4+ years of work experience on LINUX system platforms.
  • Experience on Linux administration/Management, Application support
  • Good Experience on Scripting/Development on either of these Shell , Python, Java , Perl
  • Experience on CI/CD, Software Development life cycle CVS , GIT , SVN , Jenkins etc
  • If you can source candidates internally who are experienced on Slang/SecDB and scheduling tools like Procmon/Plex this will be a huge plus.
