They also verify that each dish meets the restaurants standards for presentation and temperature.Communicating with the kitchenFood runners communicate with the kitchen to ensure that orders are executed accurately. They may also help chefs understand complex orders.Maintaining cleanlinessFood runners help maintain a clean environment for customers by clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and keeping the expedite station and takeout packing stations organized.Assisting other staffFood runners assist servers, bartenders, and other waitstaff with tasks that require speed and physical labor.
