Job Description

We are looking for a strong tech personality that will be leading an organization of 1500 highly motivated tech enthusiasts forming Information Technology @MBRDI, a part of the global IT tech network ( Home of Tech ) in ITP. In order to accelerate our ambitions as Mercedes-Benz you will be looking at the following challenges ahead of you.You can expect the following challenges in this role:

  • Lead the entire IT@MBRDI Unit of approx.1500 people within Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India
  • Transform our organization from captive sourcing to product-led, strengthening the position of IT@MBRDI within Mercedes-Benz
  • Create a long-term and sustainable portfolio & growth strategy
  • Be an integral & contributing member of the global Home of Tech
  • Lead major initiatives to drive tech transformation & acceleration globally
  • Create tech talents career path & sustainable leadership approach including diversification of talent
  • Position IT@MBRDI as part of home of tech on the employee market
  • Active member of the local Board of Management @MBRDI
, *Your qualifications:
  • 10+ years of professional experience in the tech/software engineering area
5-10 years of experience in strategic planning, development, implementation and maintenance of integrated systems across multiple hardware and software platforms
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management of major development projects, particularly as a business lead for systems development
  • Strong following on tech leadership, preferably network into the tech industry
  • Proven track record of transformational leadership experience
  • Experience in leading large scale product tech organizations
  • Strong track record of implementing and driving new & innovative working methods
  • Intercultural awareness, preferably with international exposure, empathy, active driver of diversification & inclusion
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong focus on cross-divisional integration work on global level
  • Masters Degree in a tech related area of work
  • English Business Fluent
