Job Description

    Hello,Hope you are doing well.JOB TITLE: Senior Sales EngineerJOB SUMMARY: A person with experience in Sales and Marketing including channels sales, distributors sales, dealer sales , retailers sales ,etc. They would need to create a plan for business development in new & emerging segments. A technically sound professional with an analytical approach and presentation skills. There should be a willingness to travel across as part of the job requirements. This person has to achieve the assigned AOP Customer perspective, take care of channel management, enquiry generation and key account development. Identification, selection and nurturing and handholding of the dealers for increasing sale of Industrial pumps .
    1. Product Strategy:
    • Developing and communicating the product vision and strategy.
    • Defining the product roadmap based on market trends, customer needs, and business objectives.
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to align product goals with overall company objectives.
    1. Product Development:
    • Working closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and Dealers to execute the product roadmap.
    • Translating user needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications.
    • Prioritizing features and enhancements based on impact and feasibility.
    1. Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conducting market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
    • Analysing data and metrics to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Gathering feedback from customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to iterate on product features.
    1. Product Launch and Marketing:
    • Planning and executing product launches, including defining go-to-market strategies and messaging.
    • Collaborating with marketing teams to develop marketing materials, campaigns, and sales enablement tools.
    • Monitoring product adoption and gathering customer feedback post-launch to inform future iterations.
    1. Product Lifecycle Management:
    • Managing the product lifecycle from ideation to retirement, including feature updates, maintenance, and end-of-life planning.
    • Making data-driven decisions to optimize product performance and ensure long-term viability.
    • Evaluating opportunities for expansion or diversification of the product portfolio.
    1. Cross-functional Leadership:
    • Providing leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
    • Facilitating communication between different departments and stakeholders to drive product success.
    • Acting as a champion for the product within the organization, advocating for resources and support as needed.
    1. Customer Focus:
    • Understanding customer needs and pain points through direct interaction, user research, and market analysis.
    • Championing the voice of the customer throughout the product development process.
    • Continuously seeking ways to improve the customer experience and deliver value.
    1. Technical Understanding:
    • Having a basic understanding of the technical aspects of the product and its underlying technologies.
    • Collaborating effectively with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into actionable plans.
    • Balancing technical considerations with business objectives and user needs.
    1. 9. Meeting and cultivating influencers like builders, contractors, Architects, Consultants for empaneling Kirloskar Industrial pumps. To identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts. .Communicating new product developments to prospective clients. Overseeing the development of marketing literature.
    • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
    • Planning and preparing presentations
    • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
    • Overseeing the development of marketing literature
    • Writing reports
    • Providing management with feedback
    • This position would be a SPOC for the industrial dealers and customers
    1. Accounts. Mapping of complete consultant team, and help in building a coordinal relationship with consultant and respective team leads
    2. Participation in the technical discussion along with client, consultant and providing the solution based on the site condition requirement in consultation with Design team and Project team
    3. Representing company in sales meeting and technical; meetings. Met with customer and managed customer relations to ensure satisfaction.
