Job Description

  • BS/BA degree with equivalent experience of 6 years or more.
  • Proficient knowledge in the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (program management, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision).
  • Would work as Environment Management Analyst within a global team in an Individual Contributor Role.
  • Very strong hands-on DevOps methodologies in CI/CD and Production Management.
  • Experience in performing Infrastructure tech refresh and application migrations.
  • Work with development and production teams to provide L3 support and develop automation tools to issue remediation, migrations and upgrades.Co-ordinate with team members globally to ensure deliverables are met to agreed schedules.Proactive identification of risk and issues and work out mitigation plan. Timely escalation.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX based environments.
  • Ability to think creatively to deliver solutions through continuous improvement and strong systems engineering skills.
  • Problem solving, root cause analysis and debugging skills.
  • Proficiency with all web containers such as Apache HTTP Server, Tomcat, Web Methods etc.
  • Proficiency and experience in scripting (Bash or korn shell, Python, Perl) languages.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the configuration management tools such as ansible, puppet etc.
  • At least 2+year of Docker / Kubernetes experience is required.Understanding of networking concepts Subnets, load balancing (local and global), and firewalls.
  • Experience in the use of Jules/Jenkins and GIT is required.
  • Experience in using Atlassian product suite JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence.Candidate must have worked in an agile environment.
