Job Description

Responsible for maintaining the Cloud stack and related tools/Infrastructure for a DXC Managed Services for VMWare / Managed Private Cloud environment. Manage both reactive and proactive alerts that enable unscheduled disruption to IT services to be quickly identified. Follow standard ITIL processes for day to day management and Agile methodology for development/enhancements.Enter in Qualifications field of Taleo (Internal and External, replace pre-populated generic content.)Skills :

  • Knowledge of DXC MSV / MPC cloud stack
  • Hands on working knowledge on a combination of one or more MSV/MPC components:
    • Cloud Service Automation (CSA) 4.9x
    • Operations Orchestration (OO) 10.80
    • OneView 4.10
    • Server Automation (SA) 10.20
    • Agility 11.1
  • Ensuring the availability of core cloud components such as CSA, OO, OneView, vCenter and SA through daily health checks, Service Health check, HPOO database health checks.
  • Ensure the availability of workflows within OO Central
  • Isolate and fix the flow execution failures
  • OO report capability on monthly basis
  • Physical and virtual server provisioning ensure E2E success, fix and remediate defects
  • Deploy workflows for adhoc requirements for typical Infra life cycle actions
  • Ensure IaaS/PaaS services are provided in line with statements of work
  • Provide Technical advices for design/build/test use cases which offers cloud solutions
  • Good understanding of OS platforms - any LINUX flavoured OS , Windows and VMWare/Hyper-V/KVM will be an added advantage
  • Working knowledge of key ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, HPSM, uCMDB etc
  • Highly customer focused and interactive role, requiring the knowledge of all the products/services being delivered, reflecting the strengths of the whole delivery.
Service Delivery Coverage: As per client time zone and contract/SOW requirements, typically 24x7Experience: 5+ years in a role delivering one or more of the above mentioned aspects.,
