Job Description Design , development and testing of software on embedded networking/ routing platforms, specifically in control plane area Contribute in design, implementation and integration of Ethernet OAM protocols. BE/ B. Tech/ Masters in Electronics or computer science Minimum of 6 -12 years industry experience as an embedded software engineer in the networking Demonstrated expertise in real-time embedded environments, for networking systems, object-oriented, multi-threaded programming using C or C++, and in creative technical problem solving In depth knowledge of one or more of the layer 2 protocols like GARP, GVRP LACP(802.3ad), MSTP(802.1s), RSTP(802.1w), Ethernet CFM(802.1ag), Ethernet EFM (802.1ah) etc Excellent design analysis skills, including experience with software modelling, hardware-software interactions, high-availability, software reuse, performance, security, testability and extendibility Hands on experience in porting/ customization of 3rd party stacks is a plus Leadership skills are highly desirable.
