Job Description

Nasdaq Technology is looking for a passionate Lead Software Engineer with focus on software development, to join the Bangalore technology center in India. With this position we offer :Join the development organization for UI Engineering team at Market Technologies. The main objective for the development team in Bangalore is to build state of the art UI Products at Nasdaq for our customers. As our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with your team, you will be responsible for architecture, design, development leveraging the frameworks & best practices.

  • Your role and responsibilities As a Lead Software Engineer, your focus will be developing and implementing software solutions. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
  • Lead product development working with team of 5 10 people as a technology leader
  • Architecture, Design, develop, troubleshoot and implement rich web application software.
  • Participate in technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, develop project estimates, schedules, test plans, and code reviews.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential problems/issues including authoring of technical specifications.
  • Conduct unit testing, functional testing and performance testing, review results, identify bottlenecks, and profile code.
We expect you to have
  • Should possess strong hands-on experience with UI Technologies like React, Redux, Web Components etc.
  • Should be good with Typescript/Javascript
  • Good to have knowledge on Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate
  • Exposure to Maven/Gradle, IntelliJ IDE
  • Microservices Design & Development
  • Container Technologies - Kubernetes, Docker
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline with Gitlab, Jenkins
  • Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS or Azure)
  • Experience in Linux platform
Experience building large-scale business critical applications (Financial Sectors preferable)
  • Education Required: At least Masters Degree or double degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science and our industry; or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience Required: At least 10 years
  • Special Qualifications: Continues to develop computer engineering qualifications relevant to the industry challenges.
