Manage teams responsible for timely preparation and filing of regulatory reports as mandated by regulations. The role will be responsible for all U.S. Consolidated Fed reporting, Basel Reg Reporting, Legal Entity Reg Reporting and work closely with the APAC regulatory reporting teams. The role will also be responsible for the SEC Reporting teams in the Hub. In addition to timely filing of regulatory reports, the leader is expected to enhance reconciliation processes, build analytical capabilities to explain and validate differences and develop a quality control team focused on regulatory reporting. Key responsibilities include the following:Driving change and leading the transformation of regulatory and reporting processes from current state to best-in-class industry standards, including partnering with the Regulatory Solutions team to automate reporting processes.Maintaining a robust framework on internal controls around regulatory reporting; developing and standardizing all documentation on processes and controlsDriving accountability and ownership of data to business units and functionsCommunicating effectively with Senior management and other external stakeholdersLeading relationship with other areas of the organization (Legal, Corporate Secretary, Financial Reporting, Compliance, Risk, Audit) around examinations, communication strategy, issue resolutionDeveloping and managing teams; focus on recruiting and retaining high potential talent. Augmenting staff with more technical knowledge, analytical skills and better understanding of underlying productsQUALIFICATIONSThe successful candidate for the U.S. Head of Regulatory Reporting position will possess an outstanding record of accomplishment with a proven business orientation and successful track record. In addition the ideal candidate will have:15 years of relevant industry experience, with preferably at least 5 years of direct management/oversight over regulatory report productionProven leadership capabilities and ability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders across the corporationMust have owner s mindset, process optimization experience and a strong track record for execution; strong project management skills are also importantHighly advanced people management skills, demonstrating an ability to lead, mentor and develop professionalsStrong Project Management experienceVery strong communication and presentation skillsMust be highly collaborative and possess a track record of exceeding expectations in a collegial, global atmosphereStrong intellectual curiosity and knowledge of the risk and regulatory environmentPreferably a CA, CPA, CFA or MBA,
