You will be involved from ideation, system design to rollout which could also involve some level of deep learning to show the right content to our customers and multiple channels. As an engineer in our Platform team you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the web services supporting PayPal user experiences on various channels (web, mobile, etc.), as well as integrations with partners. You will work closely with product and experience and/or integration teams to understand the developer needs and deliver the API that meets their needs.PayPal s customer engagement group is setting up a new team in Bangalore to build out the backbone for PayPal wide content management needs. This team will transform the way content is authored, stored, transformed, delivered and personalized across all of PayPal experiences. This team will be empowered to drive the end to end program and would have full ownership of the product & technology roadmap. We are looking for people who are not only great at their individual craft (management, engineering etc) but also can lead an enterprise wide initiative from a remote location.Essential Job Expectations
