*Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience., *We are Cloud Solutions and part of Oracle Applications Labs, we are the team that builds and runs Oracles corporate systems for all Cloud revenue. We have two missions: first is to show case Oracle Cloud OCI and PAAS through internal systems development that run in our public Cloud. Second is to build core subscription , customer management systems and business Intelligence systems for all of our Cloud customers and revenue. • Participate in the design and development of the data warehouse and BI solutions
• Perform ongoing monitoring and refinement of BI solutions, working with internal and external teams to delivery and support production
• Manage worldwide BI solutions, pipelines, and production environments ensuring high availability to the business
• Provide technical support for data warehouse, business and business intelligence solutions including the development of enhancement requests and defect resolution
• Understand the business priorities and plan to execute them on time
• Use the Agile development methodology and DevOps strategy for consistent, and continuous delivery and monitoring of BI platforms
• Deploy changes to test and production environments per production processes and procedures
• Manage change and source control within the development, test, and production environments
• Enable advance analytics for Oracle s Cloud Business.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for new and existing BI solutions, engineering and operations processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical discipline from premier institutes
• Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting business intelligence platforms and solutions
• Must have knowledge and experience with one or more of the following BI technologies in BI :
  • ETL Tools : ODI , Informatica, AbInitio, Talend, IBM Infosphere Information Server etc.
  • Analytics tool : OBIEE, Tableau, Mcirostrategy, Qlickview etc .
• Must have strong grasp of Oracle Database 11G/12C, PL/SQL, Oracle Architecture, OLAP features (Merge, Multi table insert, External Table, SQL Loader, Star Transformation, Materialized Views, Dimension Hierarchy, Cubes, Indexes, Partitioning etc.) and development methodologies including hands on experience on PL/SQL (created stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, cursors etc.)
• Knowledge and working experience in Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Python, Kafka is a plus
• Knowledge with one or more of the following domains: Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), financials, order management, and customer relationship management is preferable
• Ability to technically be part of multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines with high quality solutions
• Demonstrated knowledge of data warehouse, data analysis and data modeling
• Recent experience in Agile project management methodology and DevOps
• Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively (written and verbal) in a global team environment with technical and business audiences
• Strong facilitation skills with manager-level leaders; well-honed influencing skills
• Self-motivated, a willingness to learn with a strong sense of accountability, business acumen and a proven track record of delivering results.
