Job Description

Principal Engineer, Service Delivery (I8)Join us as a Principal Engineer on our Managed Services team in Bangalore to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.What you ll achieveAs a Service Delivery Engineer, you will provide world-class delivery support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers priorities and initiatives and becoming a trusted advisor that avoids customer impact and facilitates continuous improvement. You will identify potential sales and growth opportunities and will partner with key stakeholders to maximize these prospects.You will:

  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs
  • Provide support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies
  • Identify system performance issues and drives the development of tools to correct
  • Ensure that the technical environment is properly monitored and that any problems are rectified
  • The work environment is 24/7 rotating shifts and will cover weekends and weekdays.

  • 8+ years of Experience in remote IT Infrastructure support of global enterprise clients
  • Strong 5+ years experience with VMware ESX, ESXi, vCenter.
  • Strong 4+ years experience with SRM, VSAN, NSX V/T is expected.
  • 2+ years experience with Vblock, VxRack and VxRail. This experience should include the planning, deployment, configuration, and administration.
  • Expert in managing End-to-end infrastructure and IT management for Converged/HCI, Storage, Cloud Applications, Platform Infrastructure, Data Protection
Desirable Requirements
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) preferred
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred
