Job Description

This is a challenging opportunity for a tech savvy associate to play a pivotal role in solving complex business challenges using technology in the investment banking domain.The Purpose of This RoleWorkplace Investing (WI) technology team is seeking highly motivated, passionate Principal Software Engineer with strong understanding of programming fundamentals and software design. In this role you will create and maintain software features for Financial operations and compliance technology applications. As a scrum team member, you will be part of a dynamic team with an opportunity to partner closely with the business and technology teams across the shores and will be a key enabler in creation/adoption of the technology.The Value You Deliver

  • Delivering quality technology solutions to complex business problems in an agile environment Collaborating with internal and external product teams to deliver a cohesive solution
  • Implementing innovative and industry standard solutions.
  • Mentoring junior resources in the team
The Skills that are Key to this roleTechnical
  • Hands on experience in the technology stack Java, Spring Framework, PL/SQL, Angular/Typescript.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and developing RESTful Web Services with Java technologies.
  • Solid experience in architectural patterns, micro-services, messaging/event driven frameworks and enterprise databases in an agile environment.
  • Ability to design solutions using design patterns.
  • Hands on experience in practicing test automation at various levels of testing (unit, component, integration and functional tests).
  • Practical experience in CI/CD practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and work on production issues.
Additional tools/framework exposure:
  • Experience with developing applications DotNet Framework and C#.
  • Containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, Chef and other cloud deployment tools
  • GIT, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy
