Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the technical specification and implementation of customer requests from a groomed and prioritized backlog
  • Work as a senior dev team member to convert customer requests into technical solutions and make the necessary changes to deliver the request according to best practice
  • Work as an active team member on the DevOps team to help define targets, obstacles, & action plans both for internal DevOps processes as well as external business processes.
  • Write test plans, test steps, ensure quality development is maintained, approve users stories from a technical standpoint, and create other artifact documentation as needed
  • Assist in other functions of the DevOps team as needed (ie. QA, Testing, other SDLC activities).
  • Participate in Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Daily Standup, and other Agile ceremonies as required.
Requirements:Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
  • Expert in ServiceNow administration, configuration, and developer required
  • ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, KB experience required
  • Understanding of GRC and VRM experience preferred
  • Expert in developing ServiceNow Business Rules, Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs
  • Experience in developing ServiceNow client and server-side scripting
  • Understanding of ServiceNow API development and integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications
  • Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly.
  • Expert in ServiceNow workflow configuration and management
  • Experience writing scoped applications and extending the ServiceNow schema
  • Languages: Java, Javascript, AngularJS, REST, SOAP, perl, powershell, bash, VB Script
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Bachelor s degree in business, management, or technology
  • 5+ years working with enterprise software required and complex integrations
  • 3+ year Developer required
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three or more years of programming or application development experience
  • Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware and software
  • Experience working with relational databases to facilitate programming software
  • Experience working with writing specifications
Other Qualifications
  • Good programming skills
  • Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel
