Job Description

Job Description -Performance Lead with 9 yearsof experience in design, development, and execution of performance testing solutions across multiple platforms and tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tools like Load Runner, Jmeter, Neoload, Dyna trace. This role requires a strong understanding of performance engineering, test strategy, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Performance Tester skill set: Test oriented, tool experts more than process managers)Purpose: Write Test Plan (as per-application set of Critical User Paths and defined tests - not the overall Approach) and Execute Tests, perform basic analysis of tests.Role: Create user test scripts & Suite, execute tests, collect results, Report results (e.g., in a PowerPoint to present slow methods as shown by poor transaction response time.)Programming skills: Javascript, C/C and/or JavaTools:- NeoLoad (Familiar with tool; skill level 3 - 4 on a One to Five scale, where 5 is highest) LoadRunner background is acceptable- JMeter (Familiar with tool; skill level 3 on a One to Five scale, where 5 is highest)- dynaTrace and AWS native monitoring tools Can create application dashboards in dynaTracePerformance Engineer(Management and Engineering oriented, more the overall process and in-depth technical knowledge of the Cloud and JVM, than detailed programming skills for the test tools)Purpose: Write overall test Approach, coordinate tests, manage hardware and direct resources, prioritize and manage communications with management.Role: Management-oriented technical skills: proof reports for Management presentations, provide engineering skills to test creation and results processing. Better dynaTrace / AWS Native Monitoring skills.Technical Skills:- AWS Monitoring tools- dynaTrace monitoring tool, ability to find root cause by detecting race conditions and debugging slow methods & database calls- Strong JVM knowledge is key for engineering - Garbage Collection is a frequent problem.- Understanding of NeoLoad and JMeter tools (3 on a scale of One to Five, 5 highest)- Ability to code in JavaScript and Java, C/C is nice to have
