Job Description

Job Title: Regional Commercial Manager, Global Health EquityReports to: Director, GTSGroup / Division: GSD/GTSLocation: IndiaPosition Summary: This role is to build up strong connection with Global Health Equity (GHE) accounts (ie, WHO, Unicef, Clinton Foundation) APAC Headquarter and assist GHE team members to accelerate GHE projects in the region.Key Responsibilities:Drive Commercial Performance

  • Manage the GHE Public Health Commercial developer team in the APJ region
  • Drive GHE priorities and business opportunities as commercial developer in South Asia region
  • Deliver on the revenue target within the region through both direct and indirect channels
  • Connect with and build trusted relationships with local governments, regional GHE decision makers and public health leaders/influencers to find and grow commercial opportunities
  • Effectively negotiate with and influence potential customers, channel/distribution partners, public health organizations/influencers, and internal stakeholders to build effective solutions for the region/sub-region
  • Actively lead on current local public health initiatives, address roadblocks and areas of opportunity for Thermo Fisher products as well as future market trends in order drive business with GHE accounts
  • Help to ascertain portfolio requirements to support customer demands in the segments they are operating in.
Self Leadership
  • Develop and manage an annual Territory Plan with monthly and quarterly business objectives to exceed financial goals
  • Create alliances and partnerships by effectively positioning product solutions and value-added services to accelerate customers growth, increase productivity and create new sources of value
  • Cultivate strategic relationships and maintain contact with key influencers
  • Resolves problems, and seek additional opportunities to create winning proposal
Effective in the Matrix
  • Be the voice on the ground with the ability to clearly communicate the local voice back into the organization
  • Drive consensus and achieve buy-in across a complex global matrix organization by building trust amongst colleagues and developing strong, respectful relationships
  • Balance the needs of the business, division, function, GHE and commercial stakeholders
Environmental Health and Safety
  • Take care of one s own health and safety, as well as the health and safety of others, whilst co-operating with management to help identify, assess and address OH&S issues in the workplace

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Qualifications
  • Master degree in public health, epidemiology, science or related field is desirable
Experience
  • At least 5 years experience essential in the public health, epidemiology, infectious disease, molecular diagnostics or related field.
  • Have at least 2 years experience in working or connecting with GHE accounts
  • Demonstrated experience effectively achieving commercial targets and goals
  • Track record of operating successfully within an environment focused on high performance and high levels of intensity
  • Experience in working in a global and matrix organisation with a decentralised model (preferred)
  • Strong familiarity with the clinical Invitro Diagnostic and clinical markets. Understand the pathology and esoteric medicine and diagnostic segments, molecular diagnostics workflows, channels and competition
