Job Description

  • Develop / Maintain detailed functional / technical design and specifications based on user requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and proof of concepts with regard to new requirements from business partners.
  • Analyze changes and impact of change to existing applications to meet the changing needs of the business partners.
  • Able to relate the business requirements and understand business drivers and imperatives.
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
  • Provide testing support and troubleshoot issues raised during testing.
  • Undertake reviews on testing done by team members.
  • Assist in preparing the effort estimation for assigned projects and manage work area to project schedule.
  • Ensure that all documentation, processes and methodologies used in the various phases of system development and implementation in accordance to the Group s standards.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Interested in Banking Industry, with understanding of Banking Industry and Products would be an advantage.
  • Relevant experience in Mid-range technologies, terminologies and environments, especially when it comes to application and system development on UNIX based platforms.
  • Analytical, systematic thinking and methodical organization and good understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models, processes and documentation.
  • Fluent in written & spoken English.
  • Expressive and able to communicate to stakeholders effectively.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and stressful environment.
