Purpose of the Position:We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain and operations, with expertise in developing advanced data science solutions for anomaly detection, forecasting, and revenue optimization using convolutional neural networks (CNN), Python, and PySpark.Company provides end-to-end data & analytics solutions to commercial and public sector customers in various markets across the globe with a concentration in the US, EMEA, and the APAC regions. IT invests in four core competencies Cloud and Data Engineering (CDE), Analytics and Data Management (ADM), Business Consulting (BC) and Service Management (SM)to enable continued access to global markets and unmet needs. • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Business Insight Generation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for leveraging data science to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency within the supply chain and operations domain. This involves analyzing large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights and develop predictive models, providing valuable business intelligence to support data-driven decision-making processes.
• Advanced Model Development and Deployment: Design, develop, and deploy advanced data science models and algorithms for both traditional and GenAI business products, with a focus on CNN anomaly detection, forecasting, and revenue optimization.
• Data Processing and Transformation: Implement scalable and efficient data processing pipelines using Python and PySpark, and pre-process, clean, and transform raw data into a format suitable for analysis and modeling.
• Model Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:Evaluate the performance of data science models using appropriate metrics and techniques, and iterate on model design and parameters to continuously improve accuracy and effectiveness.
• Integration and Continuous Learning: Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps teams to integrate data science models into production systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence technologies, and proactively identify opportunities to apply new techniques and methodologies to solve business challenges.
Essential Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark for data manipulation, analysis, and modelling. Experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, and PyTorch is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of convolutional neural networks (CNN) and deep learning techniques for anomaly detection, forecasting, and revenue optimization.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing frameworks for processing and analysing big data, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Databricks.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying data science solutions in production environments, with a focus on delivering measurable business impact and value.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for using data-driven approaches to solve complex business problems and drive innovation.

• Ability to conduct market research and understand customer needs to drive product development.
Qualifications:
• 7 years of experience in data science, machine learning, and predictive analytics, with a focus on supply chain and operations.
• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
