Job Description

*Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. This will involve identity and employment verification, professional references, education verification and professional qualifications and memberships (if applicable)., *As a Senior Sales Consultant the individual is responsible for leading pre-sales technical activity in the field to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.Act as a technical expert in designing the total architecture of customers IT landscape for their On-premise and Oracle Cloud environmentsDeliver Capacity Characterization of Oracle Technology and Applications to Oracle platform addressing OLTP & Batch Workload for Users, Modules, Transaction Volumes, Reporting, ETL across multiple tiers - Application, Web, Database for CPUs, Memory, Disk, High Availability, Disaster Recovery and future growth in deployment of total solutionUse tools such as AWR Miner and Enterprise Manager Cloud Control in Budgetary Architecture Recommendation (BAR) Self-Service Tool to capture existing Database resource utilization, do analysis and build / consolidate Database Instance(s) on new Standalone and Engineered System platforms.Design a graphical output report of the solution being delivered for presentation to Oracle account teams and customers. Will requrie strong presentation skills in the spoken language - EnglishFamiliarity with of Oracle Applications and Technology is desirable: Oracle Database, E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Siebel, Advance Supply Chain Planning, Agile PLM, Big Data Discovery, Demanra, Endeca, Enterprise Performance Management, Oracle Analytics Server and Data Warehouse, SOA Suite, WebCenter Suite, WebLogic, Primavera, etcStrong knowledge including configurations and performance of Oracle Standalone and Oracle Engineered Systems in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS and PaaS) and On-Pemise: Exadata Database Machine, Oracle Database Appliance, Private Cloud Appliance, Exadata Cloud at Customer, Private Cloud at Customer, Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA), ZFS Storage ApplianceIn-house work include .Creating customer / account team facing collateral including Capacity Planning Questionnaires, Solution Output Templates and Reference Architectures (pre-built generic configurations in Oracle Cloud and On-Premise.)Building Sizing toolkits used in mapping performance of Oracle Application and Technology to Oracle Systems.
