Title: Software Engineer 4 Team: Cloud Customer Certification(CCC) Role: Sr. Solution Test Engineer - Routing Location: Bangalore The Senior Test Engineer - Solution Consultant is a highly technical role , providing post - sales support of Juniper s Networking Products , focusing on customer specific tests for release certifications. This role requires to develop and maintain an expertise on the products deployed within the Specific Customer Networks. These customers are technologically advanced , very demanding , and our most valuable and important customers.Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working with Field / Sales Engineers and Customers to Analyze Customer Deployment Architectures , Network Topologies and Test Plans.Lead testing efforts which could include regression test , scale testing , migration testing , certification testing and end to end solution testing.Extract Customer Use Cases from requirements and test plans.Work with Development Functional and System Test Teams to analyse test coverage and gaps.Lead building System Test Labs(ESXi / KVM) for functionality , performance and scale.Device Level configuration for routers and switches.Participate in design and information gathering workshops with the Customer to understand the Customer s existing network design and technical requirements of new network designs.Design test plans based on customer solution requirements , execute test cases and create automation scripts.Produce a written summary report of the status of Design projects , equipment and network problems on a regular basis to the Customer.Identify , troubleshoot and document issues and work with appropriate Juniper engineering resources to close problems to customer s satisfaction.Assist Creating Test Automation Frameworks , identifying tools and scripting languages.Hold technical meetings with the Customer to discuss equipment and network problems , and to provide case status updates , including the reasons for any problems encountered and the workarounds and / or solutions that are being tried.Communicate effectively with customer , account team and other internal stakeholders on overall testing and project status. Must have technical Skills: Bachelors / Masters in Engineering or other equivalent degree with 8+ years experience in test labs for networking infrastructure. Strong experience in MPLS / EVPN / RSVP / Telemetry Strong working experience in Traffic generators like IXIA / Spirent etc.Internet Protocols: TCP / UDP / IPv4 / IPv6Strong knowledge of BGP / OSPF / STP / VXLAN / VPLSRequires strong Linux experienceRequires strong understanding of JUNOS; how to configure , manage , troubleshoot , etc.Requires strong documentation and presentation skills.Requires strong networking skills; multiple protocols , products , platforms , etc.Requires strong automation and tools skills; various tools on various platforms using multiple scripting / programming languages.Requires strong communication skills; with peers (if you need help) , account team (to define requirements) , engineering (to explain problems) , customer (to deliver results) , etc.Collaborative team player , relationship building skills and should be able to adjust and work in fast pace project environment. Test Automation Frameworks , tools and scripting languages in Python or Perl.(Robot framework). Writing System Test Plans and Creating Automation Scripts. Desirable Skills: Understanding of Cloud Concept and Virtualization Technologies like SDWAN , Contrail , Openstack etc.CI / CD experience and knowledge. Debugging experience on microservices environment.Performing RCA Analysis to identify Use Case Coverage gaps.JNCIS / JNCIP / JNCIE / CCNA / CCNP / CCIE and other equivalent Networking Certifications like are a plus.Working experience on AWS / Azure is a plus.,
