SHOPIFY DEVELOPER: WORK FROM HOMEWe are looking for 1 (or 2) stellar Shopify Developers to join our growing team at Bangalore. You will work on high-quality global/domestic projects across industry verticals. You will work with a team to execute new or revamp existing stores.You will get an opportunity to work on challenging Shopify / Gold / Shopify Plus projects. You will need to implement professional coding standards and best industry practices as we are passionate about quality.We are looking for an experienced candidate with the appetite to learn and grow and keep up with the latest developments in ecommerce especially, Shopify.Key Responsibilities

• Develop Shopify online storefronts for clients across the globe
• Consult, brainstorm and provide solutions for client projects (technology stack, process workflow, development technique, QA plan, deployment strategy, etc.)
• Handle multiple clients and/or internal projects in parallel

Duties

• Working with the team (designers, other developers, team manager) to produce visually appealing, future-ready, responsive and scalable front-end experiences
• Customizing Shopify themes and/or creating custom layouts depending on the scope of the project
• Expert in LIQUID and JAVASCRIPT (We need a coding rockstar) Experience with APIs (GraphQL & RestAPIs) is highly desirable
• Helping sales team to scope out leads/opportunities and suggest quick solutions
• Working with Project Management to scope out new functionality requests
• Training other members of the team so they can assist with large projects

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with Shopify & preferable Gold or Shopify Plus platform.
• Prefer knowledge of Slate / Themekit or similar (for custom theming)
• 2+ years working with latest UI/UX technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3
• 2+ years of experience working with Liquid, JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX(very important)
• Experience configuring third party apps especially Marketplace / Memberships and such
• Knowledge of Shopify Ajax API is a huge plus
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills preferred

Preferred Abilities / Experience

• Shopify Gold or Plus experience (Highly Desirable)
• Expert in Shopify Liquid template language (Required)
• Expert in Shopify APIs and its usage (Desirable)
• Experience in Shopify Theme development (Desirable)
• Knowledge of Admin API and Storefront API (Desirable)
• Knowledge of Product structure configuration via Shopify Admin or CSV (Highly Desirable)
• Experience handling Product/Customer/Order import / Order Export management (Highly Desirable)
• Working knowledge in Custom Shopify App development (Desirable)
• Awareness of Product, Customer, Discount and Order APIs and custom scripts using the same (D)
• Awareness of Marketing Events, Discounts, Gift Cards APIs and their configurations in Shopify (Desirable)
• Experience with Shopify instance management and configuration (Desirable)
• Knowledge of data migration and synchronization between Shopify instances (Desirable)
• Knowledge of SEO / CRO best practices for Shopify (Highly Desirable)
• Solid knowledge of performance tuning and industry best practices (Highly Desirable)
