In this role, you will be responsible for providing input for the next generation architecture, platform strategy and implementing platform capabilities that supports the organization s business strategy.The role requires working collaboratively across the Technology, Product and Commercial organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals. In this role, you will build strong relationships with cross-functional team members and business stakeholders.Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development and the delivery of platform components and software releases. Establishing a technical vision with the development team and lead the team to turn it into reality.
• You will be responsible for the delivery of services/components, deployable on various cloud deployment models.
• This is a hands-on development role, where you will be spending a majority of your time on development.
• Work collaboratively across the Technology, UX, and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals
• Mentor and support team members on technology, technical approach, project execution, domain skills and help grow the team.
• Establish and enforce processes that drive productivity and efficiency. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.

Experience

• 12+ years in Software Engineering role
• 5+ years of experience in architecture, design and problem solving related to that.
• Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating large software solutions
• Demonstrated experience with .NET and C#, ASP.net/some Javascipt/Typescript
• Deep understanding of API design, including versioning, isolation and micro-services. Experience developing REST and GraphQL APIs
• Experience collaborating with cross functional teams, multi-geography, distributed teams
• Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies
• Deep understanding and experience in API design (using RESTFul), including versioning, isolation, documenting for internal and external (commercial) using API documentation frameworks (e.g. Apiary, Swagger)
• Deep understanding of DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline concepts and experience working and coaching developers on concepts including GitOps
• Experience with large-scale consumer-facing production software and cloud deployment strategies
• Background configuring monitoring and alerting with Prometheus/Grafana
• Strong practical administration skills in Public Cloud environments - AWS preferred, Azure and GCP experience is a plus
• Solid background in Docker, Linux, and automation scripting in one or more of the following languages/tools: Bash, Python (AWS CDK, boto, etc.), Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell
• Design, test, integrate and oversee deployment of auto provisioning and de-provisioning in resilient and highly available environments based on user load

• Ability to provide in-depth evaluation and analysis of unique complex technological issues
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
