Job Description

    Job Title: Senior SQL Developer Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/ChennaiWork mode-Hybrid Employment Type: Full-timeSkills-SQL, TSQL, SSIS, SSRSJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SQL Developer with 8 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. As a Senior SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL queries, managing large datasets, and working with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions that drive business decisions.Key Responsibilities:Database Design & Development:Design, develop, and maintain relational databases and SQL queries to support data needs for applications.Optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and scalability.Perform data modeling, database normalization, and denormalization tasks to ensure efficient data structures.Performance Tuning:Analyze and optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency, particularly on large datasets.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks related to SQL queries, indexing, and database configuration.Collaboration & Teamwork:Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and software engineers to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.Assist in database design decisions and review code written by junior developers.Documentation & Reporting:Write clear and comprehensive technical documentation for databases, stored procedures, and ETL processes.Produce regular reports and dashboards based on business requirements.Mentorship & Training:Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, offering support in complex SQL development tasks.Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and SQL developments and share knowledge within the team.Qualifications:Required Skills & Experience:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.8 years of experience in SQL development, including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.Strong expertise in SQL Server (T-SQL), MySQL, or PostgreSQL.Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) and data warehousing.In-depth understanding of database design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.Experience with ETL tools and processes (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, or custom scripts).Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills & Experience:Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL).Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
