The position of student counselor is to perform all student interfacing and support activities Regular meeting, Motivation and 1:1 coaching, Reputation building, Answering all student related queries, Taking and providing feedback etc. This position would also require very close interaction with internal stakeholders (mentoring team, admin team and marketing team) in order to provide best-in-class student support. The ultimate goal of this position is to build a vibrant, motivated and engaged student environment by being a catalyst. Any degree. Any specific course in counseling / psychology would be a plus Responsibilities: Daily interaction with students and engaging in terms of counseling and feedback Completely own student support channels (phone and ticketing system) by answering their queries with given SLA Coordinate and own student technical and soft-skill workshops (ex: interview preparation) Periodic communication about student performance by triggering progress reports Coordinate and facilitate student certification and external evaluation (ex: NSDC) Work closely with placement team (ex: student shortlisting) Excellent oral and written communication skills Should have very good understanding of student mindset and situational handling Dynamic and go-getter mentality with capability to handle large volume of students Proficiency in usage of various office applications (word, excel, powerpoint) is very essential for this role. Person with higher social media presence would be preferred Previous experience in education businesses / institutions would be a plus,
