The Systems Engineering Operations Department is expanding with a new team focused on supporting our Customers and Partners inquiries into processes for proposals or quotations. The team will accelerate Juniper responses by focusing on the technical expertise required to answer accurately and in a timely manner specifics of Juniper products & solutions. The Team Lead of the Proposal Team will act as main contact and coordinate activities in the team, contributing to the process. Objectives of this Role Main point of contact for the technical proposals towards the SE Operations team Coordinate activity related to answering technical proposals Respond to technical details in Requests for Proposals (RFP) received from Sales Channels and Customers Build relationship with relevant players in Engineering and PLMs team Maintain a DB of technical responses and templates to accelerate Juniper s response and positioning. Responsibilities Coordinate basic and complex RFP questions by assigning action items to team member Follow- up on assigned actions to ensure a timely and accurate response Work closely with the SE Operations Team to improve processes striving towards excellence Report activity and process completion Ensure that technical content of RFP s is processed accurately, comprehensively and on time Work with Product Managers, as required, to request specific information Utilize knowledge base of prior RFP responses to understand and develop appropriate responses to assigned technical questions Report any risk during the process to Sales & Legal teams for their consideration Maintain the DB with relevant updates working towards an optimized source of information Skills and Qualifications Bachelors Degree Ability to work in a high paced, quick to respond work environment Excellent communications Networking and Switching knowledge Juniper Networks portfolio Standards and Regulations in the IT industry Organizational and coordination skills ensuring answers are provided in a timely manner, with activity assigned appropriately About Juniper Networks Juniper Networks brings simplicity to networking with products, solutions and services that connect the world.
