The Red Hat Technical Training team in India is looking for a Technical Instructor to support our training and certification deliveries across India and South Asia. In this role, you will deliver training programs and certification exams to our customers and partners. Partner instructors will depend on your guidance and support. As a Technical Instructor, you ll need to have excellent communication skills and experience in Red Hat s technical training delivery. Primary job responsibilities

  • Facilitate Red Hat Training classes
  • Facilitate Red Hat s certification exams
  • Assist the Training Services Sales team in sales initiatives to grow the training business
  • Participate in internal projects and pilots
#LI-DNI Required skills
  • 1+ year(s) of industry experience
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer(RHCE) qualification, or ability to pursue certification within 30 days of being hired; additional certifications are a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, following Red Hat s COVID-19 guidelines
  • General awareness of the latest technological trends
  • Ability to communicate effectively within the team and with training partner instructors
  • Team-oriented with initiative, positive attitude, and enthusiasm
  • Demonstrated ability to work both on your own and as a member of a collaborative team
The following are considered a plus:
  • 1+ year(s) of technical training delivery experience
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages like Perl, Python, C++, or Java
  • Virtual training facilitation experience
