Technical Project ManagerGeneral Purpose of Position: Delivers a project on time, within budget, while meeting Client expectations. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of departmental application technology projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to application technology projects for a given business unit. Typical Duties and Responsibilities IT project planning - cost, schedule, deliverables to meet business need May manage budget for program under direct control IT project reporting Ensure all projects adhere to the Client Project Delivery Methodology Serves as liaison with business units Client interface for all project activities including requirements, prioritization, and changes Information systems design, implementation, operation Service Provider interface for programs under direct control Information systems project execution including testing, documentation, training, Project risk management Business case development/tracking, - including, total process cost Establishes and tracks performance criteria for system operation Skills and Abilities: Should have relevant certification (e.g. PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master) Knowledge/familiarity with business process re-engineering Highly developed oral and written communications skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others High level of analytical ability where problems are very unusual and extremely difficult Strong conflict and negotiating skills to effectively manage issues and bring to closure with a winwin outcome High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others Experience with multiple project planning tools including Microsoft Project Locatio - Pan India,
