Job Description

We are hiring a Telecommunications Specialist for developing, installing, monitoring, repairing, and maintaining communication systems and equipment. You will work in a fast-paced environment to ensure that all communication systems work efficiently.In order to succeed in this job role, the candidates must have a solid background, relevant industry experience and expert-level understanding of all telecommunication systems and devices such as computers, telephones, communication circuits, etc. So, if you like to work in a challenging environment, and qualify the following requirements, we would like to hear from you.Requirements:
• At least a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or other related fields
• Past experience in a relevant position, preferably as a telecommunication specialist
• Experience with Microsoft Office and database management software
• Experience with telecommunication systems and peripheral equipment such as computer networks, system terminals, optical fiber, data modems, and on-site controllers
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• An analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude
• Ability to perform well in a team environment
Responsibilities
• Managing, supervising and providing technical advice/guidance on telecommunication systems
• Monitoring and testing systems/peripheral equipment as well as troubleshooting problems in them
• Evaluating systems performance and bringing necessary changes when needed
• Overseeing and coordinating all telecommunication activities
• Purchasing electronic equipment/systems and preparing budgetary justifications for reporting to upper management
• Training of staff for the purpose of improving their skills
• Identifying users needs from customer feedback for the purpose of bringing necessary updates in the existing technology to meet their requirements
• Documenting plans, activities, requests, and specifications for various telecommunication tasks as well as regularly reporting them
• Programming features, designing systems and networks and allocating necessary resources for these tasks
• Following industrys standards, regulations and best practices
