Job Description

PURPOSEInternational Trust Services: ITS team prepares financial statements for International Fiduciary clients of Bahamas & Geneva. The format of financials and the accounting treatment differs for each structure.Legal Accounting: LA team prepares accounting statements for trust as requested by the probate court under specific state laws. Accounting includes Annual, Bi-annual, Triennials, intermediate, Final accounting, and Termination fee calculations.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Responsible for preparing financial statements for multiple entities for US Domestic/International Trusts
  • Knowledge of basic accounting concepts is a MUST
  • The role will need liaison with onshore partners for timely resolution of accounting queries
  • Able to handle simple to moderately complex issues related to the accounting.
  • Able to meet service level standards for timeliness and accuracy.
  • Able to prepare annual, triennial or intermediate type accounting with little or no assistance.
  • Make appropriate adjustments to accounting to resolve issues and balance.
  • Must clearly understand account transactions and what schedule they belong on.
  • Able to process fee calculations for any state that requires unique calculations.
  • Review accounts prepared by processors.
  • Knowledge of Accounting is essential with at least 4-5 years experience in Finance industries.
  • SME in Tax/Accounting functions.
  • Understands Risk and Controls related to process and is able to effectively manage it.
  • Complies with service level standards for timeliness and accuracy.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are mandatory
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail Orientation Function is critical from impact perspective. Need eye for detail and there is zero tolerance to oversight mistakes.
  • Analytical - Ready to analyze the process flows and ideate on operational improvements
  • Be a strong team player and must have the capability to build good working relationships with cross functional/geographical teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of work
  • Communication (Spoken Assertiveness & Written) Ability to communicate effectively
  • Adaptability - Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks through effective prioritization
