Job Description

    In this role, you will be responsible for building and operating data-driven growth initiatives across ecommerce and retail channels. You will integrate and analyze data from multiple systems to identify revenue opportunities and execute targeted customer marketing initiatives. Your hands-on approach will involve building dashboards and implementing marketing strategies to drive measurable business outcomes.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Customer Data & Analytics** - Build a unified understanding of customer behavior across retail and ecommerce. - Analyze: - Customer lifetime value - Repeat purchase patterns - Product affinities - Customer segments - Geographic buying patterns - Utilize insights to drive targeted marketing initiatives.- **CRM & Lifecycle Marketing** - Design and manage lifecycle marketing initiatives including: - Welcome email series - Post-purchase engagement - Abandoned cart recovery - Repeat purchase campaigns - VIP customer programs - Promotional campaigns - Measure campaign performance and optimize based on results.- **Marketing Performance Analytics** - Track and analyze marketing performance across channels such as: - Email campaigns - Paid marketing campaigns - Promotions - Ecommerce conversion performance - Develop insights to enhance marketing ROI.- **Retail Store Intelligence** - Analyze performance across retail locations by examining: - Sales trends by location - Product performance by store - Promotion effectiveness - Customer buying patterns - Provide insights to support better merchandising and store operations.- **Data Infrastructure & Reporting** - Integrate data from various sources including: - POS systems - Ecommerce platform - Marketing tools - Inventory systems - Develop dashboards and reporting systems for leadership utilizing tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and Google Data Studio.**Qualifications:**- **Experience** - 48 years experience in growth analytics, ecommerce analytics, marketing analytics, or retail analytics - Experience working with customer and transaction data - Experience running CRM or lifecycle marketing campaigns- **Technical Skills** - Strong experience with: - SQL - Advanced Excel / Google Sheets - Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) - Nice to have: - Python - Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify - Experience with marketing automation tools- **Business Skills** - Ability to: - Translate data into actionable insights - Identify revenue growth opportunities - Work with cross-functional stakeholders - Communicate insights clearlyIn this role, you will be measured by your success in increasing repeat purchase rate, growing customer lifetime value, improving marketing campaign performance, enhancing visibility into store and ecommerce performance, and promoting data-driven decision making across the company.If you are comfortable working with messy data, enjoy both analysis and execution, understand customer behavior in retail and ecommerce, and can independently identify and implement growth opportunities, you are the ideal candidate for this position.
