The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in regulatory model development, monitoring, and governance, and a strong understanding of Basel III/IV regulations. This role will focus on developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for retail risk models and ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Expertise and Compliance:
   • Maintain expertise in regulatory guidelines from PRA, HKMA, and other governing bodies, including Basel 3.1, CCAR, IFRS9, SS 1/23, and other relevant standards.
   • Ensure all documentation aligns with the latest regulatory requirements and standards.
   • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address regulatory compliance issues and provide insights on regulatory developments.
2. Documentation Development and Management:
   • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for retail risk models, including model design, methodology, performance metrics, validation processes, audit trails, and regulatory submission processes.
   • Ensure all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up to date, supporting model validation and audit activities.
   • Coordinate with model developers and risk management teams to gather and incorporate relevant information into documentation.
3. Governance and Model Validation:
   • Support the regulatory submission process by providing detailed documentation required for audits and reviews.
   • Assist in preparing responses to regulatory inquiries and maintaining records for compliance audits.
   • Provide guidance and support to the model governance team to ensure that all documentation meets regulatory expectations.
4. Technical Proficiency:
   • Utilize SAS and Python for developing documentation and performing analyses to support regulatory compliance.
   • Leverage technical expertise to ensure data integrity and accuracy in model documentation and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in regulatory model development, monitoring, and governance.
• Strong understanding of Basel III/IV regulations and their application in retail risk modeling.
• Expertise in SAS and Python for documentation and data analysis.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for regulatory compliance purposes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience in regulatory compliance within the financial services industry.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
