Industrial Automation Division provides modern solutions for various types of industries. As Senior DCS Application and Commissioning Engineer you will be part of India Operation Centre - Industrial Automation (INOPC IA) and will be based in Bengaluru.Senior professionals ( > 5 years of work experience)Tasks: Application Design and Implementation. HMI Design and Implementation. Integrated System testing (FAT). Startup and Commissioning. Living ABBs core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Requirements: BE/BTech in Control and instrumentation or Equivalent. 6 to 10 years of DCS and process / power plant experience. Knowledge of structural and functional architecture of control systems. Knowledge of control philosophy for process / power plants. Knowledge of Software and Hardware design and test experience with any of DCS. Hands-on experience in Application Engineering tool with any of the DCS. Hands-on experience in Graphic Engineering tool with any of the DCS. Hands-on experience in Gas Turbine / Steam turbine applications. Knowledge of the field instrumentation (sensors, transducers, drives related to Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level etc.). Knowledge on interfaces (Profibus, Modbus, OPC, IEC61850, etc.). Current knowledge of network engineering and IT developments (PC handling, Windows applications, PC configurations, virus scanners, interfaces, backup). Knowledge in Operation system windows 7/XP, windows 2003 & 2008 server and well versed in MS office applications (office 2003 / 2007). Commissioning experience in any of the process / power plants for atleast 2 years. Knowledge of the ABB-DCS S Harmony is an added advantage.
