Quality Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Automation Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. This role focuses on eliminating manual testing efforts by building scalable automation solutions, improving CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with developers to deliver high-quality products.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.Develop and enhance automation frameworks to support continuous testing in Agile/DevOps environments.Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product teams to identify test requirements and coverage areas.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality validation.Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in automation scripts and test environments.Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and provide insights for quality improvements.Ensure adherence to quality standards, coding guidelines, and best practices in test automation.Participate in code reviews, test planning, and risk analysis discussions.Recommend and implement tools and technologies to optimize testing efficiency.Required QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.Strong experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.).Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, Karate).Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
