Job Description

    Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) in Inventory Planning to join our team. This role is pivotal in optimizing our supply chain processes and ensuring efficient inventory management across multiple locations including Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, and Delhi. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management and business analytics, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.     • Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure timely parts ordering.
    • Utilize MS Excel and business analytics tools to analyze inventory data and generate actionable insights.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders on inventory performance and improvement initiatives.
    • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of spare parts.
    • Monitor inventory turnover rates and adjust strategies as necessary to meet business objectives.
    • Conduct regular audits of inventory processes and recommend improvements.
    • Provide training and support to team members on inventory management best practices.
    QualificationsThe successful candidate will have:
    • A minimum of 3 to 8 years of experience in supply chain management or inventory planning.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with business analytics tools.
    • Strong understanding of demand forecasting and inventory management principles.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information clearly.
    • Proven experience in parts ordering and managing spare parts inventory.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
