Job Description

Candidates applying for the position of Professor should have a Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science and its allied branch with first class or equivalent at either Bachelors or Masters level in the relevant Branch. Alternatively, a M.Tech/Ph.D with First class or equivalent in any one of the Two Degrees is accepted. A minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry is required, out of which at least 3 years should be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor. Additionally, candidates should have at least 6 Research Publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisors/Co-supervisors till the date of eligibility of promotion, or alternatively, at least 10 Research Publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals.
