Control System Engineer

Job Description

System Design Design control systems for machines, production lines, and industrial processes. Select and integrate sensors, controllers, actuators, and feedback loops. Develop logic and control strategies for reliable system operation.Programming and Implementation Program PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and related automation systems. Install and commission control equipment in the field or plant environment. Work with software and simulation tools to validate designs before deployment.Testing and Optimization Test control systems to verify accuracy, performance, and safety. Tune parameters and improve system response when issues appear. Troubleshoot faults, alarms, and process instability.Maintenance and Support Maintain existing control systems and update them as production needs change. Support plant operations by resolving automation and instrumentation issues. Document changes, configurations, and maintenance activities.Collaboration Work with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and operations teams. Support project requirements, safety reviews, and commissioning activities. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for hardware and software integration.
