Job descriptionRole & responsibilities
• Delegating and directing service tasks, monitoring the progress of current projects, and managing service team members to ensure the teams objectives are met.
• Ensuring and adhering to Preventive Maintenance Schedules of high value and complex equipment.
• Ensuring timely availability of all maintenance spares and consumables at all service locations
• Maintain a positive attitude while leading a team of 12 or more Service Engineers at multiple locations in an efficient and productive manner
• Anticipate service engineers needs using proper leadership techniques and proven problem-solving methods
• Manage all external service providers and review yearly contracts as needed to be able to maximize profitability
• Ensure a high level of response time and proper problem resolutions
• Understand how to make changes to the company knowledge base to anticipate the needs of the maintenance team
• Develop a standard operating procedure handbook and a service catalog
• Maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the companys adherence to these regulations, and remaining current on the industrys standards and new innovations, materials, tools, and processes.
