You will ensure high availability, performance, and security while collaborating with multiple teams to drive database efficiency and integrity. This role is ideal for a MongoDB expert with a proven track record in performance optimization, database administration, and cross-team collaboration.Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the SME for MongoDB administration and database best practices.
• Install, configure, and maintain database management systems.
• Monitor database performance and implement optimizations.
• Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Ensure security protocols, data protection, and compliance measures are in place.
• Collaborate across teams to provide solutions and support critical business applications.
• Assist in the development of database policies and procedures.
• Take ownership of team decisions and contribute to key organizational initiatives.
Must-Have Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on MongoDB administration experience.
• Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices.
• Expertise in backup, recovery, and replication strategies.
• Familiarity with query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Knowledge of database security protocols and data protection measures.
• Educational qualification: 15 years full-time education.
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Broader exposure to NoSQL and relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra).
• Experience with cloud-based database deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of DevOps automation for database administration.
